The removal of leaves, paper & any other debris as well as cutting back any overhanging tree branches.
The checking of any up-stand details like capping’s & flashing to see if they're in good condition and effective.
Due to fatigue or weather, mastic joints may fade over time. This will be filled in and replaced depending on the condition.
Checking the edge details are secured to provide protection against wind & extreme weather conditions.
Checking the flashing detail at walls, kerbs & gutters to prevent damage & to make sure the materials are in good condition.
Checking pipes, outlets, roof lights & plinths for any exposed & damaged material to make sure they're in good condition.
This is an option depending on the supplier which adds an additional coating to the roofing system.
General checks will be made to the top coat of the roofing system to evaluate its sate and repairs made as needs be.
The guarantee that is formed at the end of a roofing & waterproofing project is an agreement between Permicoat & our supplier to ensure the quality, integrity and efficiency of the system that's been put down. Our maintenance & after-care services are about making sure your system is working to its optimal performance which is why it's recommended that it's done annually. The process of a maintenance check involves Permicoat's technical team attending site at a day of your choice to survey the site & make all of the checks listed above. At the end of this process, our technicians will present you with one of two documents, either a certificate to pass off the check or a recommendation of works to be done.
