    Project Overview - This project involved mechanically removing solar reflective chippings & power washing the area. Concrete primer was applied to the parapet capping details followed by the application of the Sika Liquid Plastics Decothane Ultra 20 year system to the whole roof area.

    Project Overview - This project was our first time working in partnership with Langley Waterproofing Systems who offered their 20 Year Langley Paracoat System to Clitheroe Golf Club.


    This project involved the application of the Paracoat system to the the prime roof area at the Golf Club, the creation of 2 gully’s to direct any rain water to the existing water outlets on the lower level roof as well as the installation of 4 new roof lights.

    Project Overview - This roofing project involved the removal of existing solar panels which were installed using the incorrect fixings resulting in penetrations through the roof area. These penetrations were temporarily repaired prior to power washing followed by the application of a metal primer & a fully reinforced Sikalastic 625 system.

    Project Overview - This roofing project was a garage conversion with a existing pitched rosemary tile roof and was starting to show signs of collapse. The existing tiles and timber a-frame was removed in its entirety followed by the installation of new timber substrate and a fully insulated liquid system.

    Project Overview - The fragile wood wool slab existing deck was over boarded using T&G timber sheets. The chaplaincy spire and flat roof areas were then fully encapsulated using Sika Liquid Plastics’ Decothane Ultra 25 Year System.


    For our works on the Lancaster Chaplaincy Centre with Sika Liquid Plastics & Vertical Access, Permicoat won the 2017 LRWA award for Liquid Roofing Project of the Year under 1,000m2. In 2018, Permicoat was nominated for best project in the Liquid Applied Roofing and Waterproofing & Hot-Melt category.

    Project Overview - This roofing project involved the removal of the roof tiles due to the system being at the end of its design life. As Sikalastic 625 system was then applied to the asphalt roof giving the whole roof a 15 year guarantee.

    Project Overview - These waterproofing and anti-rust treatment works took place over 2 primary areas. First the old taxi rank & second the overhead footbridge to the Guild-Hall. Works to the old taxi rank involved application of a Sikalastic 625 system to the roof area followed by the application of Sikagard 675 anti carbonation system to the fascia and soffit detail. Works to the footbridge involved mechanically removing any signs of rust and blistering paint followed the application of a rustoleum anti-corrosion system.

    Project Overview - This roof had previously been overboarded by other using 18mm OSB board which was completely saturated due to substandard workmanship. Permicoat removed this layer, replaced it with 18mm marine ply sheeting and installed a Sikalastic 618 10 year waterproofing system.

    Project Overview - This project was part of the refurbishment process in 2017 to create the luxury apartments. It involved the installation of 130mm Decotherm insulation flat board, the formation of a hard edge to the insulation to create a valley to the water outlet. Permicoat also installed the Sika Liquid Plastics Decothane Ultra & K501 system to the parapet detail.

    Project Overview - This roofing & waterproofing project was completed with technical assistance from Flex-R Ltd, our EPDM Rubber supplier.


    Permicoat removed the existing duckboards and the lower two courses of existing slates. This enabled the roofing contractor to install a C16 3” x 2” timber structure, along with the installation of 22 mm oriented strand board (OSB) From this, Permicoat applied Flex-R’s RubberBond EPDM Rubber system throughout all of the gutter valleys and adhered using water-based roof deck adhesive and SPB spray bonding adhesive for upstand details and kickboards to the valleys.

The timber was then mechanically fixed to create hard edges ready to receive 130mm insulation flat boards. All works then received a fully reinforced Sika Liquid Plastics Decothane Ultra system.
