This part of the process is about specifying what is required in terms of materials, manpower & any other external factors are required to complete your project. As part of this process, Permicoat can offer the following specification services; the specification of thermal upgrades, general material specifications, 3D / CAD Drawings & the design and installation of roof access systems. Through working with our suppliers, we can create a specification that is tailored to your needs & requirements.
Material Specification
Working in partnership with the supplier that's most suitable for your project & with the information gathered on the roof condition survey, we will create a specification of materials that are needed to complete the project. These specifications are tailored and consider every aspect to the job from everything that was brought up in the survey, health & safety to the final sign off of the project.
Thermal Upgrades
Depending on the effectiveness of your current waterproofing system, it may be necessary to replace the insulation layer. Through a roof condition survey & a core sample, we can ascertain the condition of the material itself & see if there is any water set within the insulation itself. As a primary part of any roofing & waterproofing system, it’s vital that the insulation layer is kept dry so that the heat from the building it's kept in and the integrity of the whole system isn’t damaged. Permicoat can upgrade your insulation as part of a roofing & waterproofing system or as a separate package.
3D / CAD Drawings
The use of 3D / CAD drawings is a vital part of what Permicoat does and can offer to you. Such drawings allows us to clearly show the physical dimensions of a project and from that, specify materials to a very precise point. These drawings are custom made for every single project and take into consideration all aspects of the project in question. We offers this service to make sure the roofing & waterproofing system you’ve chosen is effective in its cost.
Design & Installation of Roof Access Systems
From platforms to walkways, projects large and small. Permicoat can design & install custom roof access systems onto your building. In the example that you see above, we’ve installed a walkway with rubber mats over an EPDM rubber system.
